This episode features the shocking moment where Ben loses the Omnitrix (or rather, gives it up) and has to fight without his powers for a large portion of the episode. Why it matters: It ends with Ben receiving the recalibrated Omnitrix (the "Ultimatrix" era begins), sets up the next series ( Ultimate Alien ), and features a massive space battle.
