The “Save as DXF” feature in the free version adds a small watermark “Created with DWG Viewer Portable Top” on the edge. To remove it, you need the paid Pro version ($29 one-time).

The layer dialog lists all layers with checkboxes for visibility. You can also freeze/thaw layers. No ability to rename, delete, or change lineweights. For a viewer, that’s acceptable. However, I wish it showed the current color of each layer in the list – it doesn’t, so you have to guess.
