Every Tuesday, Rosario calls a payphone at a local bodega in Mexico to talk to her son. When Carlitos gets lost in the US, this payphone becomes the symbol of their hope. The final scene (spoiler alert) where they reunite at that same payphone will destroy you emotionally. Even tough critics admit they cry.
