In a bid to promote the welfare and education of the girl child, the Government of Jharkhand has launched the Mukhyamantri Sukanya Yojana. This scheme aims to provide financial assistance to families belonging to the Below Poverty Line (BPL) and lower-middle-class households, ensuring that their girl children receive quality education and a secure future.
