The Turkish Turban‑Styled Image Archive (2RAR‑New) is a recently launched digital repository that collects, preserves, and provides open access to photographs, paintings, and illustrations featuring turbaned figures in Ottoman‑influenced visual culture. This paper presents a comprehensive overview of the archive’s conception, technical infrastructure, curatorial methodology, and its significance for scholars of Ottoman art, fashion history, and digital humanities. By analysing user statistics, metadata standards, and case studies of scholarly use, we argue that 2RAR‑New not only safeguards a fragile visual heritage but also catalyses interdisciplinary research and public engagement with Turkish sartorial traditions.
